Cats Patches – 4-year-old female Calico. Big, beautiful and waiting for a new best friend. Patches is mellow, loving and would love a quiet, gentle home to spend her life in.Maupa and Wabsko – 5- and 7-year-old female torties. These pretty and petite girls would love to find a home together. Both are very gentle and loving.Molly – I’m a sleek and beautiful black cat who loves to give and get attention. I’m 6 years old and would love a home with no other animals.Princess – 2-year-old gray tiger/ dilute calico mix. This funny feline is very active, social and affectionate. She loves to play and has lived with other cats before.Bandit – 2-year-old black and white male. This quiet, clean, gentle and loving boy will make a great addition to any family. He is good with other animals and is front declawed.
DogsT.J. – 2-year-old shepherd/black lab/chow. Very energetic, playful and smart. He knows lots of tricks and likes to play with other dogs.Blue – 5-year-old male Siberian husky. This big, furry guy is looking for a family who really enjoys the independent and social nature of huskies. Great cold weather dog, but strongly desires to sleep inside and be part of the family. Gorgeous dog!Reise – 9-year-old male Siberian husky. I’m a very well-mannered dog who gets along with cats and most other dogs. I am in great shape and would love to have a new family to love for the rest of my life.Simba – 3-year-old male shepherd/American Staffordshire mix. I am just the smartest and most obedient dog around. I know lots of tricks and would love for an active family to adopt me. I can get along with some dogs, but prefer to be an only pet. Taz – 4-year-old boxer/American Staffordshire mix. I’m very friendly and love to give kisses, but not on the first date. I walk well on a leash and have some obedience training. I will be a good watchdog because I am protective of my family and house.
Shanee – 6-year-old female black lab mix. This is a sweet, gentle girl who loves small children and will make a very faithful and loving companion. She likes to hike outside and to cuddle with someone at bed time.Charlie – 1-year-old pit bull terrier/boxer mix. Athletic, happy and always ready to play. I love people, most other dogs and am always smiling. I’m a smart and eager learner and have some obedience training already.Buckeye – 112-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix. My underbite is so cute it’s sure to make anyone chuckle. I know lots of tricks and am housetrained. I am very outgoing and love to play with female dogs. I will make a great watchdog.PuppiesHarley – 9-month-old shepherd mix. Super playful, obedient, loyal and smart. He was mistreated so can be untrusting of new people and situations. This will be a great dog with a loving, gentle owner who will spend time socializing him.

To visit any of these animals, visit the Summit County Animal Shelter off County Road 1004 just south of Frisco, or call (970) 668-3230. The shelter’s hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
