Photo and story placement was right

Karl Kramer - Dillon

I just wanted to take a moment to express how pleased I was Sunday morning to find that the Summit Daily did not follow in the steps of the Denver Post in it’s coverage of the horrendous accident on Interstate 70.

Thank you to the Daily for covering this sad story in a tasteful manner by not placing it on the front page with a huge color photo of the crushed vehicle.

Brad Odekirk’s photo was tasteful and at enough of a distance that it did not sensationalize the horror of the image, as The Post did.

I’m glad to see our local paper continuing to show true journalistic integrity.
