As the days grow darker and the nights longer, the presence of light is cause for celebration. Scenes of light from around the area bring holiday joy to visitors and locals alike.

Locals bundle up and gather together for the Lighting of Dillon at the Marina Park on Friday, Dec. 20. The event was previously scheduled for the previous week but was canceled due to the snowstorm that closed schools and delayed businesses.
