FAIRPLAY — Visual artist Alyssa Serpentini draws upon inspiration from nature as she paints in her home studio, nestled amongst the trees outside Fairplay, Colorado. Working in the large space of her living room, the natural light pours in from windows and illuminates the highly textured paintings she is finishing for her upcoming show in Denver.

Over the river and through the woods, painter Alyssa Serpentini’s remote home studio outside Fairplay, Colo., is where she finds inspiration and solace.
