On Thursday afternoon, local children at the Touch-A-Truck event got the chance to explore the large equipment to be used to move at least 85,000 yards of lakebed dirt around the Frisco Bay Marina in the near future. As part of the “Big Dig” project, the lakebed will be dug deeper to improve navigation and to extend the recreational boating season at the marina following recent years of drought patterns at the reservoir.
