Participants in this year’s Turkey Day 5k were thankful for beautiful weather; sunny skies, mild temperatures, and not a flake of snow falling from the sky. According to race emcee Phil Lindeman, around 1,000 runners, some in festive costumes and hats, descended upon South Third Avenue in Frisco to burn off some pre-Thanksgiving Day calories and to have a good time.
