Pine beetles do need attention

I, just like the Summit County community, agree that the pine beetle is becoming a big problem in our environment. Our community is known for its lush trees and beautiful scenery, and in years to come this attraction may become a little less known to people around us. If we only cut down the trees that have been affected, then there is less of a chance for the beetles to kill the remaining trees. What I believe is that many people aren’t aware of what the pine beetle is doing to our community and environment. With our trees all being cut down, it will affect our jobs, our economy and our people. So with this as a struggling issue in our community, we all should do our best to try and prevent the pine beetle from killing our trees.
