Plane crashes outside Longmont; two taken to hospital

LONGMONT ” A vintage airplane crashed and caught fire Thursday outside Longmont, and two people on board were taken to a hospital, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

The plane was a Beechcraft C-45H, FAA spokesman Allen Kenitzer said.

An FAA database said the plane was built in 1951 and was owned by the American Airpower Flying Museum in Midland, Texas.
