Planning meeting for charity race held Tuesday

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

On Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., Oasis 9600 will be holding an open meeting for anyone interested in helping out with a charity running race to be held in the spring. The meeting is located at 1760 Airport Road in Breckenridge. The race, inspired by the book “Three Cups of Tea” by Greg Mortensen, will benefit the Central Asia Institute, which has built more than 55 schools for boys and girls and 14 vocational schools for women in remote villages of Pakistan over the last ten years. To support this effort or offer ideas, please contact Shannon Galpin at (970) 376-0754 or shannon.galpin@comcast.net.
