Plenty of restaurants are open and ready to serve hungry customers

After reading Reid Williams’ very negative May 2 article about off-season restaurant closings, I was ready to apply for leftover MREs from our troops in Baghdad.

What is this nonsense saying there isn’t a place to eat in Frisco, or Summit County for that matter. There are plenty of places to get a good breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The two-fers are great, and as a local, I look forward to their availability during mud season. If restaurateurs are tired of competing with this practice, then don’t participate in the program.

To those of you who are taking a well-deserved hiatus – enjoy. We look forward to your opening. To the workaholics who remain open – thank you for the two-fers and feeding the starving people walking up and down Main Street, Frisco.

For information regarding open restaurants during mud season, call the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, or the Summit County Chamber of Commerce: (970) 668-2051.
