Four homesites OK’d for Peak 8

BRECKENRIDGE – Tuesday night, the Breckenridge Town Council approved the final four homesites in Timber Trail, a single-family neighborhood being developed by Vail Resorts.

The development’s first 18 sites were sold in a week for an average price of $550,000 each. All four are located next to Trygve’s Ski Run on Peak 8, and all four offer views of the Ten Mile Range, the Breckenridge Ski Area or Baldy Mountain.

Vail Resorts officials have yet to set prices on the homesites, but they are expected to be more than $1 million.

Timber Trail is Vail Resorts first development at Peaks 7 and 8. Last month, the town council approved the revised master plan agreement that will guide the future development plans for Peaks 7 and 8. The agreement calls for Vail Resorts to construct approximately 420 new condominiums as well as new retail, restaurant and skier services space.

For more information on the homesites, contact Eric Thompson at (970) 547-5720.
