Police: Man barricaded inside Denver home may be armed

DENVER – Police said Friday they were trying to contact a man who barricaded himself inside a house after he allegedly pointed a weapon at a woman.Few details were released, but officers said they had received a report at about 9 a.m. that someone in the home may have threatened suicide.They said a woman had gone into the house, and a man inside had pointed a weapon at her. She left and called police.Police spokesman John White said he did not know whether or how the pair were related. Officers said they did not know how many people remained in the house but did not believe any children were there.
