Police seek Farmer’s Korner attempted robbery suspect

SUMMIT COUNTY ” The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify a male suspect who attempted to steal the cash drawer from the Farmer’s Korner Gas Station on Feb. 15.

Deputies responded to a 911 call from the station at 10 p.m. reporting a possible robbery. According to the employee on duty, the male had attemped to steal the cash drawer while he was in the cleaning closet.

The employee saw the theft in progress on the security camera and chased the suspect down causing the cash drawer to fall to the ground while the suspect ran away on foot. It is possible the suspect was then given a ride in a white or silver small SUV at approximately 9:30 p.m.

The male suspect is described as being approximately 5-foot, 10-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded jacket, jeans, and white goggles.
