TOWN OF BRECKENRIDGE

More than 250 volunteers turned out to help clean up the streets and trails of Breckenridge on Saturday, May 20. The Town collected 13 refrigerators, 35 miscellaneous appliances, 60 tires and 25 pieces of furniture. Numerous businesses and neighborhood groups requested and received bags to clean up their own businesses and neighborhoods as well.A special thank you goes out to our sponsors: Summit County Government, High Country Conservation Center, Breckenridge Resort Chamber, Summit County Waste Facility, Timberline Disposal, Breckenridge Recreation, Police and Public Works Departments and the Riverwalk Center, Summit Daily News, KSMT, KYSL, Starbucks, City Market Bakery, Subway, Kremmling Pepsi Bottling Company, Breckenridge Brewery, Eco Products, Highland Investments, Stan Miller, Inc., Summit County Road & Bridge, Vail Resorts, The Grand Victorian Day Spa and Salon at the Grand Timber Lodge, Great Adventure Sports, Timberline Barber and Tanning Salon, The Breckenridge Ski Resort, and the Backstage Theatre. Clothing and household donations went to the Park County Senior Center with the assistance of Bea Bartle-Kasparek.A big thank you also goes out to the over 40 volunteers who turned out for the Carter Park Poop Scoop on Wednesday, May 17. Again we could not do these events without sponsors.
