Income tax filers will have until midnight at the Frisco, Silverthorne and Dillon post offices to post their returns and still have them cancelled with an April 15 date. Regular front-office

windows will close at 5 p.m., and people who plan to mail their returns later than that must place their mail in an inside or outside mailbox to have the stamp

canceled. The Breckenridge Post Office, however, closes at 5 p.m. and will not offer late-night income tax stamp canceling.

It is too late to mail tax returns through the Mail Boxes Etc. – now known as the United Parcel Service offices – in Breckenridge or Silverthorne.
