Postal Service teams with customers to help military

Daily Staff Writer

During the period Aug. 1 through Sept. 30, postal customers can purchase and donate AT&T First Class phone cards to military personnel stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Postal patrons may visit their local post office and purchase the phone card in any denomination, and the postal associate will activate the card. The postmaster will then hold the activated cards in a secure location. The Denver office will compile all phone cards and distribute them to the military bases in Colorado and Wyoming to be sent to all branches of the military in Iraq and Afghanistan. Go to your local post office for more information.
