Power restored after impacting thousands in Frisco, Silverthorne, Xcel Energy says

Final update: Power has been restored to all customers, according to Xcel Energy’s Electric Outage Map.

5:50 p.m.: Thousands of Summit County customers were without power Monday, Nov. 25, according to Xcel Energy’s Electric Outage Map.

More than 4,250 customers in Dillon, Silverthorne and Frisco were reportedly being impacted as of 5:45 p.m. Reports of the power outage first came in a little after 5 p.m.



Crews are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible, the outage map states. It currently predicts power to be restored around 6:30 p.m.

5:30 p.m.: A power outage is affecting Xcel Energy customers in Silverthorne and Frisco, according to multiple readers in Summit County.



Xcel Energy did not immediately respond to a request for comment regarding the reason for the outage or the timeline for restoring power.

The company’s outage map doesn’t report any outages in the area, except for areas near Golden, Colorado.
