Power outages near Silverthorne impact more than 6,500 customers, according to Xcel Energy

Xcel Energy's outage map shows power outages impacting the Silverthorne area. As of about 8:30 a.m., more than 6,600 customers in the area were being impacted.

Multiple power outages are impacting residents in Summit County, according to Xcel Energy’s outage map.

As of about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, the outage map showed power outages impacting more than 5,000 customers in Silverthorne and the Wildernest neighborhood.

The outage map did not include information about what caused the power outage but it stated that power is estimated to be restored by 11:15 a.m.
