The Cottages at Shock Hill are a stones throw away from the Mid-Station Gondola and the prestigious Shock Hill Subdivision in Breckenridge. At The Cottages it is one of the few places in Breckenridge where you have direct access to world-class skiing and town with the Mid-Station Gondola, Nordic trails and hiking trails in your back yard and amazing ski area views. Not only do The Cottages have one of the best locations, but they also provide a maintenance-free lifestyle. For very minimal HOA dues the owner does not have to lift a finger. HOA dues include window washing, landscaping, plowing, trash removal and even staining the exterior of the house. It can be a luxury condo lifestyle in a single-family house.

The Cottages at Shock Hill exudes luxury and class. When you visit The Cottages you truly feel like you are in a mountain cottage. Breckenridge Lands only uses high-end finishes, including Wolf/Subzero, granite counter tops, reclaimed wood floors, heavy timbers, handsome stonework and every detail has been touched by the sure hand of craftsmanship and confidence. The homes are about 3,400 square feet with four or five bedrooms depending on the floor plan the buyer chooses. I constantly hear from buyers that they love The Cottages because it is a property that is not too big and that is built with only the best quality finishes and detail throughout. I think that is hard to find today.

I envision a property owner that wants the best of the best. They can come to their property knowing they can do almost anything Breckenridge has to offer and not have to use their car or even lift a finger because of the maintenance-free lifestyle. Enjoy skiing, shopping, hiking, views and open space. When you are in your cottage make coffee with your Miele coffee maker, sit on your deck with the gas fireplace and hot tub, take a steam shower, enjoy your dining experience with the handcrafted stonework inside and outside and just relax.

The five-piece bathroom has a soaking tub like I’ve never seen before. The tub is surrounded with the views of outside, there is stonework from tub to ceiling, a granite or travertine topper, and a chandelier or light fixture chosen by the buyer. It is heaven.

Every cottage looks completely different on the inside because each buyer has hand-chosen the finishes of their choice. Whether it’s mountain modern or mountain rustic, Breckenridge Lands has an interior design team that has spent several hours hand-selecting fine finishes the buyer can choose from.

Every cottage we have built has sold. We are breaking ground on two more soon. I wish we were building more this year. There will only be a total of 14 and we have already sold half of them. There is a very limited supply.

I like to entertain when everybody can be together. The open floor plan in all The Cottages have the kitchen, dining space and living room all open. That way, no matter if your cooking, pouring a cocktail or chatting in the living room, everybody is together.

For me it’s the Miele coffee maker. I love coffee and the ease of the coffee maker. Waking up in the morning, pressing a button and getting a coffee with the crme on the top mixed with a good newspaper and relaxation.

All the cottages are wired for smart house, so the buyer has control of their home not only in the home, but wherever they happen to be.

It’s Breckenridge. What is there not to like? We have it all at The Cottages at Shock Hill.
