Provost lived adventurous life

Gray Pearson Frisco

Richard Provost and I met more than 25 years ago in Dillon. We’ve been friends all of those years. His obituary gives only hints of the adventures he experienced. One of the best tales was of his flying his fighter plane in the inside circle of planes slowly circling the battleship Missouri at the Japanese surrender in Tokyo Bay in 1945. What a picture that draws. What a fine man he was.
