The Bristlecone Foundation Legacy Forest campaign is selling tree seedlings on Mother’s Day to help support the home care and hospice patients of Bristlecone Health Services at the same time it renews the forests of Summit County and the surrounding mountains.

Seedlings are $20 and can be either picked up and planted, or buyers can designate where they’d like the seedling planted. Options include: Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone and Silverthorne.

A special acknowledgement card can be sent for Mother’s Day orders, and those orders can be picked up this week if desired.

Trees that aren’t self-planted will be part of the June 4 family friendly, communitywide planting day and Bluegrass Jam at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center. Randall McKinnon and Denver-based Oakhurts will be playing. Volunteers receive free admission. Other tickets can be purchased for $12 online, with each ticket funding a seedling in Summit County.

To sign up or to learn how to order a tree, visit http://www.bristleconefoundation.org or contact the Bristlecone Foundation office at (970) 668-8444.
