Quality of life: Don’t forget what it means

Letter-writer Ed Goodman – after reading your letter about the noisy Sunday morning because of a helicopter, I had a few thoughts and suggestions for you.

First remember what the “quality of life” that you moved here for really is, then, how rare and special this lifestyle is. Do not forget what the word quality means.

Second, don’t try to change and remake Summit County into a place like where you came from, like the last few thousand new residents to the county have done.

There are enough suburbs in the world already. Third, keep up the good work being a concerned citizen and help preserve our home the way it is, because we really do live here. We are not on vacation.

Fourth, do not tell any of your friends to move here. It is getting too crowded. Tell them to move to Vail where people like the crowds. Let’s slow down the growth and save our Summit lifestyle.
