Radon awareness video presentation scheduled for Saturday

Daily Staff Writer

A Radon Awareness video presentation is scheduled for Saturday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday, March 7 from 7-8 p.m. in the Blue River Room at the Silverthorne Library. Radon is a major cause of lung cancer in the U.S. second to cigarette smoke. The only way to find out if you have radon gas in your home is to test. CSU Cooperative Extension staff will be on hand to answer questions and to give out free short-term Radon test kits. For more information, call (970) 668-4140.
