Raynor named ‘4-H Leader of the Year,’ Wallace honored as ‘4-H Outstanding Youth’

Phyllis Raynor is our 4th-year 4-H Garden Club leader (and CSU Master Gardener) who incorporates hands-on learning at every class from experiments, field trips, hydroponics, dish gardens, plant terrariums, Silvana’s Garden plot to dinners to learn how to use our vegetables and herbs our kids successfully grew.Kaitlin Wallace is a 3rd-year member of our 4-H Sewing Club and has taken on the role as junior leader in sewing and our new cake decorating club. Wallace has a positive attitude that helped her to be resilient to disappointment at our Exhibit Days judging and turn it around to earn seventh place at the Colorado State Fair. Wallace is also a champion with her enthusiasm for completing community service projects, and consistently completes her outstanding record books every year. Wallace is a hard worker and we are very proud of her dedication and positive attitude. FOUND: black leather gloves were left at our ice skating/achievement night party.
