Real workers unite on Home Depot
December 2, 2005
Did anyone notice the number of out of town people giving money to stop Home Depot? The group who started this election wants only Frisco residents to decide this problem, but they have no problems getting support and money from people outside the area. The moneyed retirees who claim Frisco as their home playground did not say anything against Main Street being rebuilt with the expensive restaurants and condos. They like that. They don’t have to pay $12 for a plastic shower handle bought locally. Those of us who do our own repairs will have to continue to drive out of the county for supplies or get overcharged. The real workers in Frisco unite and vote “Yes” on Dec. 13.
