Rebecca Kane: Sensational advertising

Rebecca Kane

I am aware that the Summit Daily has been hit on hard times, and advertisements are the staple of your income, but when did printing ads such as the one by Threadless Tees become good for business?

When did a graphic of a girl blowing her head off with a gun become good advertising anyway? The ad certainly got my attention, but in a negative way.

I wonder what visitors, who read our paper, think of ads like this – maybe they think our community is immune to violence.
