The American Red Cross Mile High Chapter is busy coordinating a massive relief effort locally to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, but they urge all donators to recognize that only monetary donations can be accepted by the organization at this time.People continue to bring donations of clothes, toys and other items to the organization’s local office. Yet they do not have the personnel or capacity to deal with these donations. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.
