Regents select Bosley to head presidential search committee

AURORA – The University of Colorado Regents selected Regent Steve Bosley on Thursday to head a committee to search for a replacement for President Hank Brown.Bosley led the committee that picked Brown last year.The former U.S. senator has said he wants to retire by next February.Ken McConnellogue, vice president for university relations, said the regents also refined the president’s job description, aided by comments from Brown and campus chancellors.The search committee will be selected by the next regents’ meeting in April.The regents set aside $150,000 for the search plus the cost of hiring a search firm, which will be determined in negotiations.
