Body found in Leadville near where Colorado Mountain College student went missing

A body was found in Lake County on Friday near where a 20-year-old Colorado Mountain College student was last seen last week.

While the county coroner’s office has not identified the remains, authorities in Oklahoma area where the missing student, Colton Wilson, is from said the body is that of the missing man.

“The family is very appreciative of all the prayers and encouragement that have been communicated to them through social media, phone calls and messages since their son went missing,” the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma said on Facebook.

“Please continue to pray for the Wilson family as they go through this very difficult time.”
