LONGMONT, Colo. — One man is dead and a woman is critically injured after being stabbed in Longmont.

Police say the 34-year-old man suspected of stabbing the two is also dead but they haven’t released details on what happened to him.

The stabbing was reported at a home late Tuesday night. Police say they arrived to find a 58-year-old woman who had been stabbed across the street.

The Longmont Times-Call reports that the SWAT team responded to the scene. A man was rescued from the home around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday but he later died.

Police have been called to the house numerous times before for domestic violence, mental health and restraining order issues.
