Resurrection is well documented?

Eric CollierSilverthorne

Re: Mayfield’s myths (Daily Mail, June 11) After some of the usual embarrassing creationist drivel (and I mean embarrassing to America, which is the only country in the civilized world where it’s taken so seriously), David Hudson makes the claim that the Resurrection is “one of the best documented events in history.” I’ve heard this claim made many times by Biblical hucksters. But what is the documentation they refer to? Apparently, it is scripture – a fanciful text from a hysterical age by unknown authors. In other words, we know the Bible is the Word of God because it says right there in the Bible, “This is the Word of God.” The ultimate tautology. What are we missing?
