Fireworks, shows and fine dining are available to locals and tourists celebrating New Years Eve in the High Country. Check out where to be in Summit County when the clock strikes midnight.

Keystone continues to bring in the New Year with laughs. Brett Butler, star of Grace Under Fire, will be at the Keystone Conference Center Grand Ballroom with opening acts Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald from Animal Planet and comedy club favorite, Steve Gastineau. The show begins at 10 p.m. followed by music and dancing and midnight festivities. VIP tickets are $99.95, reserved tickets are $69.95 and general admission tickets are $49.95. Appetizers and a midnight champagne toast are included. The comedy show is R-rated. Welcome in the New Year in Breckenridge during the annual torch light parade and spectacular fireworks display on New Years Eve. At 6 p.m. skiers and boarders from the Breckenridge Ski Resort kick off the evening with a dazzling luminary, parading from the top of Peak 9 down American to The Village at Breckenridge. The best views will be from anywhere you can see Peak 9.At 9 p.m. catch a brilliant fireworks display.
