Road crews in Summit County praised for keeping things moving

I wish to give recognition where it is due. During a period of snow that shut down Interstate 70 and most of Denver for days, our local roads stayed open, basically without a hitch.

Our roads were clean and clear. Driving was normal. Our road crews worked throughout the night – and it seemed like endlessly for days – without letting up.

I really hope the people of this community realize the hard work that has been put forth to keep us safe. When storms roll through, we sometimes take for granted the clear roads in the mornings on our way skiing or to work.

Thank you road crews for all your hard work. I appreciate it.
