Rob Millisor: Mike Dudick for Breckenridge Town Council

Rob Millisor
Breckenridge

I am so thankful that we have seven outstanding candidates who have taken the challenge of running for Breckenridge Town Council. It is more than comforting to know that each of these individuals are running simply to make Breckenridge a better place.

I do believe that Mike Dudick brings certain skills and qualities that make him uniquely qualified for our council. Mike has been a valuable member of our community for over 20 years. He started as a bartender, then founded and grew a successful publishing business in town. During that time he called on every retail store, restaurant, art gallery, and real estate office in town. Mike learned first-hand the challenges of operating a small business in Breckenridge and he will work tirelessly to make sure the town supports our business community.

The best professional decision I have ever made was bringing Mike on as a partner in our timeshare company. It’s no accident that our success as a business really began to grow when Mike joined our team. He is incredibly intelligent, thoughtful and decisive. He not only understands how to meet budgets, make payrolls, and control and cut costs; he lives it every day. But perhaps most importantly Mike has an uncanny awareness to see opportunities where they exist and the courage to seize those opportunities. He will bring a skill set to our town council that will benefit all of us.

But Mike’s greatest quality is his passion for this community. When he told me he was running (and after I told him he was crazy), I asked him why. His answer was simple: “I have been very blessed living in this community and I feel a strong need to give back to make this a better place for my children and all those who make Breckenridge their home.” I know that Mike’s unique abilities will serve the citizens of Breckenridge well!
