Robert Holt: Dangerous ride

Robert Holt
Bryan, Texas

On July 16, I took my family to the Breckenridge Peak 8 Funpark. My two granddaughters were severely injured on the Alpine Slide ride. No one at the park came to help them or get them off of the mountain. They walked down and were attended to in a nursing station. While in the nursing station, another family came in with similar injuries from the same ride. The nurse commented that she knows when the ride is open because they get busy. While in town, people who saw them commented that they must have been on the Alpine Slide.

We all had to sign waivers before buying tickets into the park. This ride seems to be dangerous, with many people getting hurt. It would be good if the ride could be made safer for future patrons.
