Rocky Mountain Christmas Celebration returns

Flapjack will be on hand again this year to carry the mother of the soon-to-be-born Christ child into Bethlehem during the third annual Rocky Mountain Christmas Celebration starting Sunday. The donkey, one of the popular attractions of the yearly pageant, is just one ingredient in the retelling of the story of Christmas.Dates for this year’s pageant are Dec. 19, 21 and 22 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 24 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of Rocky Mountain Bible Church at the corner of Sixth and Main streets in Frisco.Locals are encouraged to attend one of the earlier performances as overflow crowds are expected on Christmas Eve. All performances are free of charge, and a nursery is available at no cost.Additional program information can be obtained by calling the church office at (970) 668-3395.
