Rocky Talkie accepting applications for 2025 Search and Rescue Awards

Rocky Talkie has pledged $2 per radio sold to support search and rescue groups in the U.S. and Canada since the company launched in 2019

Rocky Talkie, a company that makes walkie-talkies geared towards outdoors enthusiasts, is accepting applications for the 2025 Search and Rescue Awards through Feb. 28, according to a news release.

The awards provide grants to underfunded search and rescue teams across the U.S. and Canada, the release states. Rocky Talkie said it has pledged $2 per radio sold to support search and rescue teams since its founding in 2019.

For the 2025 grant cycle, Rocky Talkie will award multiple grants at three funding levels: $5,000, $10,000 and $25,000.

The search and rescue awards are open to all search and rescue teams operating as a nonprofit or in partnership with a nonprofit that accepts grants or donations to support the rescue team. To apply, visit RockyTalkie.com/pages/sar-award
