3 p.m.: All lanes of Interstate 70 are now open following a single-vehicle crash around noon Friday, Nov. 17 that resulted in two people being seriously injured.

Colorado State Patrol Master Trooper Gary Cutler said no further updates are likely until around 7 p.m. Summit Daily News will write a followup story with any new details once more information is received.

2 p.m.: Shortly after the crash, it was estimated the eastbound closure would remain in place for four hours, according to Cutler. But he noted that the estimate has not been updated in some time. He said Colorado State Patrol is conducting an investigation at the crash scene.

1:45 p.m.: Summit Fire & EMS said in a Facebook post around 1 p.m. Friday that they responded to a “bad single-car rollover crash” on eastbound Interstate 70 in the Tenmile Canyon just west of Frisco. Two occupants were taken to St. Anthony Summit Hospital with serious injuries.

1 p.m.: Interstate 70 eastbound is officially closed between Exit 173 near West Vail and Exit 201 near Frisco. There is no timeline for reopening, according to a CoTrip.org post made at 12:51 p.m.

12:15 p.m.: A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near Officers Gulch west of Frisco has closed both eastbound lanes of traffic and one westbound lane, according to Colorado State Patrol Master Trooper Gary Cutler.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the rollover crash around noon Friday, Nov. 17. Cutler said two individuals are believed to have sustained serious bodily injuries.

Flight for life was requested, Cutler said.
