Rotary thanks Sathers for donation

Daily Staff Writer

Don and Betsy Sather have made a contribution to the Summit County Rotary Foundation by giving an antique vehicle. It is a 1937 Dodge one-ton pickup. The vehicle has an estimated value of $10,000. A big thank you is in order to Don and Betsy for this contribution. The pickup was restored a number of years ago and is in running condition. It is currently stored in the Sathers’ garage. The plan is to turn this gift into cash for the foundation by selling the vehicle. Now that spring is here, we would like to get the vehicle ready so it can be sold during the upcoming summer season. Prior to offering the pickup for sale it needs a good clean-up, polishing, and perhaps some minor mechanical attention. Rotary Club members who are interested in volunteering to help get this vehicle ready for sale, please contact Russ Ahrenholtz at (970) 668-5353.
