Roxie Knudsen, formerly of Breckenridge, dies at 72

Roxie Edwina Knudsen, formerly of Summit County, died June 7 at Swedish Hospital in Englewood. She was 72.

Knudsen was born in Breckenridge in 1938 to Carl (Johnnie) and Carrie Kaiser. She attended school in Summit County and also in Westminster, where she graduated high school. She was married in 1956 to Jame Knudsen. She loved hand work, family genology, gardening, traveling, her grandchildren and her family.

She is survived by sons Kevin (Nola), Kent (Debbie) and Kurt (Carolyn); daughter Carrie Klenda (Jeff); and sister Betty Ann Fraiser (Raymond); as well as beloved companions Alice and Lil.

Funeral services are set for Friday; Evergreen Mortuary is handling the arrangements.

Memorial gifts should be made to the American Cancer Society.
