Ruth Hertzberg: Inspiration from Liddick on Haiti

Thank you so much for publishing Morgan Liddick’s column Jan. 15. He may be “On Your Right” but his column was an exemplary example of how U.S. citizens should react to a disaster like the one in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He may be a right winger, but he’s certainly no Rush Limbaugh. As I have rarely done in the past, I support everything he said in this article. I wonder if I might add the UUSC/UUA Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund to his list of relief agencies. My husband and I have already made a donation to this group. We do have an active Unitarian Universalist Congregation here in Summit County. Let us hope for more inspirational columns like this one from Morgan Liddick.
