Scholarship offered for young women


The PEO Organization, Chapter FU Breckenridge is inviting Summit County young women to apply for a continuing education award for up to $1,500. This award is available from the Anne Scott Memorial Fund and is open to women who are: • Summit High School graduates• residents of Summit County• currently enrolled in an accredited, full-time, four-year academic program or masters program• maintaining a GPA of at least 80 percent• involved in extracurricular activities; and • in a position of financial needThe PEO Organization supports women’s education through scholarships for college and graduate students. Low-interest loans are available for women returning to school for education or to complete a degree. PEO raises money for scholarships through local dues, fundraisers or donations.
