School board president resigns

SUMMIT COUNTY – Summit School District Board of Education president Jennifer Brauns announced Wednesday night she was leaving her elected seat.

“It is with deep regret, and this was a difficult decision for me, but for business, personal and family reasons, I am announcing my resignation from the board,” Brauns said.

The Frisco resident was first elected in 1999. The board will solicit candidates for appointment. More details will follow in Friday’s Summit Daily News.
