Scout Badge Days in Breckenridge

Scouts, earn your badges, try-its, and awards through fun, hands-on activities and games in the great outdoors. The Breckenridge Recreation Department Outdoor Recreation and Education brings you Scout Badge Days May 3 and 4. Scouts will spend valuable time in nature and be guided through each of their requirements by a trained naturalist. On Saturday, May 3, 9 a.m. to noon, Brownies will complete the requirements for their Watching Wildlife Try-It. On the same day, Juniors will complete the requirements for their Wildlife & Your Outdoor Surroundings badges from 1-4 p.m. On Sunday, May 4, 9 a.m. to noon, Bears will complete the requirements for their World Conservation Award, and in the afternoon from 1-4 p.m., Webelos will complete the requirements for their Naturalist Badge & more.The cost is $12/Scout and programs take place at the Breckenridge Nordic Center on Ski Hill Road. Please bring a water bottle, snack, backpack, and dress for the weather. Registration is required by May 2.
