Seedling tree workshop set for Nov. 30

Summit County Extension and the Colorado State Forest invite local landowners to a free seedling tree workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 30 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the County Commons in Frisco.

Colorado State Forest Service Nursery seedlings are grown from native stock and provide a low-cost option for reforestation, creation of windbreaks and wildlife habitat. Forester Paul Cada will present information on tree selection and planting, and applications to order seedlings will be available. For more information on the workshop or the seedling tree program, call the Extension office at (970) 668-3595 or go to http://www.extension.colostate.edu/summit/
