Seedling Tree Workshop set for Tuesday

Summit County Extension and the Colorado State Forest invite local landowners to a free seedling tree workshop on Tuesday from 4:30-6 p.m. at the County Commons in Frisco (37 Peak One Drive). Colorado State Forest Service Nursery seedlings are grown from native stock and provide a low-cost option for reforestation, creation of windbreaks and wildlife habitat. Forester Jacob McCarthy will present information on tree selection and planting, and applications to order seedlings will be available. For more info on the workshop or the seedling tree program, call the Extension office at (970) 668-3595 or visit the Extension website: http://www.extension.colostate.edu/summit/.
