Sell your stuff and help a good cause
April 29, 2009
The Summit Daily News is now offering a new way to sell things in its print and online classifieds section. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit local causes and organizations.
“Sell it for Good” replaces the Daily’s 1-2-Free program and runs every day in print and online. The program is for sale items under $1,500 and cost only $5 per week for print and online. As an introductory offer, photos with the ad will be free for a limited time.
Online-only ads are free. Those who choose the print/online option will have $2 of every sale donated toward a local organization. Initially, the Summit Daily will channel those dollars toward Summit County preschools and child-care facilities.
