Sen. Udall to visit Leadville Tuesday

U.S. Sen. Mark Udall will be in Leadville at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, to discuss work he’s doing with the community on the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel, and to talk about his bill promoting safe shooting ranges like Chaffee County’s. Sen. Udall will also meet with local leaders to discuss their efforts to create natural resource centers in Gunnison and Salida, and to learn about other priorities in the region.

The senator will visit the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel at the Village at East Fork Exit, one-half mile north of the intersection of Highways 24 and 91 on County Road 91B.
