Senior Games open Sunday

The annual Summit Senior Winter Games officially open Sunday night with the traditional carbohydrate spaghetti dinner at the Summit County Community and Senior Center and continue with the competitions Monday and Tuesday.Ninety competitors are entered, and all except for two are over 55. There are six in the 55-59 group, 21 in the 60-64 group, 14 in the 65-69 group, 32 in the 70-74 group, four in the 80-84 group and two in the 85-89 group.The alpine and ice skating events, plus several purposely silly competitions, will be held Monday at Keystone, and cross country and other events will be Tuesday at the Frisco Nordic Center.
