Services for Ireland, 80, on Monday

Constance P. Hoitomt Ireland, 80, resident of Keystone, and Napa, Calif., passed away on Jan. 30. Connie was born Oct. 29, 1927, in Minneapolis to Adolf and Josephine Hoitomt.She is survived by her husband, Dr. Gerald W. Ireland, and her children:Cynthia and husband David Mattson, children Erick, Stefanie and April of Arvada;Alec and wife Patricia, children Patrick, Aidan, Maria and Caroline of Millington, N.J.;Lisa Rogowski and husband Thomas, children, Andrew and Kira of Boulder, CO.; Christine Lund and husband William, children Brian, Meghan and Douglas of Lakewood; and daughter Nancy of Denver.Connie was a graduate of South High School in Minneapolis and one of the first female graduates of the School of Business at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn.Connie enjoyed classical and choral music, playing piano, appreciating the beauty of nature, travel and experiencing other cultures.Connie was a homemaker, devoted spouse, loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Friends and family want to thank and honor her for her love and kindness throughout her life.Memorial services will be held Monday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. at Dillon Community Church; 371 E. LaBonte Street, Dillon. A reception will follow at the church.Memorial donations suggested by the family may be made to the Salvation Army or to St. Anthony Summit Medical Foundation of Frisco.
